Police release CCTV of man after Glasgow bus station attack

CCTV images have been released of a male police want to speak to following a serious assault at Buchanan Bus Station taxi rank earlier this year.

The incident which took place on Sunday August 21, left a man in hospital in Glasgow.

The male shown in the photo is described as white, between 18 and 30 years old and of slim build, with short receding brown hair shaved at sides, and a short beard.

He was wearing a dark blue jumper with white piping around collar and cuffs, dark blue jeans, and white trainers at the time.

Detective Constable Matthew McCann said: “This was a serious attack which left a man requiring hospital treatment.

"I would urge the man, or anyone who has information relating to the man depicted in the image to make contact with the police.”

Anyone with information can contact officers through 101 quoting reference number 0069 of Sunday, 21 August 2022.
