A CCTV image has been issued after a number of charity boxes were stolen from a Tesco supermarket.
Merseyside Police received a report a number of charity boxes were stolen from Tesco Extra on Linkway, St Helens. The boxes were stolen in two separate incidents on Wednesday, September 7 and Monday, September 12.
Police are currently investigating both incidents and have released a CCTV image of a man they believe could have information to assist their enquiries.

Sergeant Mark Lawrenson said: “To steal from charities is despicable and we will continue to investigate these incidents. The man pictured may be able to assist, and although the CCTV image is not 100% clear, we hope that if you know him you will still recognise him. If so, please come forward.”
