The Baltimore Ravens selected plenty of talented prospects during the 2022 NFL draft, coming away with 11 total players. They had two first round draft picks, two more selections on Day 2 of the festivities, and then rounded out the weekend with seven selections on Day 3, including a whopping six fourth-rounders.
When naming each team’s most questionable draft pick, Josh Edwards of CBS Sports chose one of Baltimore’s first selections as his choice for the Ravens in center Tyler Linderbaum. When explaining why, Edwards talked about how despite the former Iowa star being one of his favorite prospects, he’s projected better in a different scheme as opposed to Baltimore’s.
“Baltimore not only had one of the best drafts, but Linderbaum was one of my favorite prospects. As an undersized, athletic offensive lineman, he projected better to a wide-zone blocking scheme. Instead, he goes to more of a power/gap style that values heftier linemen like Orlando Brown Jr. and Daniel Faalele. Linderbaum has the edge to make this work, however.”
