The Baltimore Ravens have been through plenty of drafts over the course of their franchise history. While they are widely regarded as one of the better drafting teams in the NFL, there have been a few picks where they’ve missed.
Bryan DeArdo of CBS Sports looked at each team’s most desired draft do-over the course of the league’s history. When discussing Baltimore, DeArdo went all the way back to the 2003 draft, where the Ravens selected quarterback Kyle Boller with the 19th overall selection that they traded for by giving up their 2004 first-rounder. He talked about how the New England Patriots used that selection to take defensive tackle Vince Wilfork.
“After selecting Terrell Suggs with the 10th overall pick, Baltimore traded its 2004 first-round pick to New England to select Boller. The Patriots used the Ravens’ draft pick to select Vince Wilfork. Boller won less than half of his starts in Baltimore, while Wilfork was a five-time Pro Bowler and a starter on two Patriots championship teams.”
