CB Joey Porter Jr. has predraft visit with Steelers

According to Pittsburgh Steelers beat writer Gerry Dulac, former Penn State cornerback Joey Porter Jr. is doing a predraft visit with the Steelers on Thursday.

For many Steelers fans, Porter is easily the top option for Pittsburgh in the first round of the 2023 NFL draft. Porter is the son of Steelers legendary linebacker Joey Porter and this plays a big factor in why many of Steeler Nation want him to be the pick.

Pittsburgh is in the market for a cornerback after the departure of Cameron Sutton in free agency. Sutton signed with the Detroit Lions, and the Steelers responded by signing veteran Patrick Peterson. Peterson is still rock solid but it would be prudent for the Steelers to add a developmental player to take over in a year or two.

Let us know in the comments if you want to see the Steelers draft Porter in the first round if he is available.
