Catherine Zeta-Jones says husband Michael Douglas is fine with her 'love' for another man

Catherine Zeta-Jones has confessed she loves another man - but claims husband Michael Douglas has no issue with it.

The Welsh actress, 53, made the announcement while watching the FIFA World Cup final on Sunday.

And it appears there is certainly no trouble in paradise for the famous couple, with the man in question being Argentina's main man, Lionel Messi.

The Wednesday star celebrated Argentina lifting the World Cup trophy in Qatar and admitted that while she speaks French and loves the European country, her heart was solely with the South Americans for the game.

Taking to Instagram, she shared the moment Argentina won the cup, titling it "GAME they are. Set ! And MATCH." She can be heard in the clip singing "Ole ole ole!" loudly over the top of the scenes, while her Stories were filled with snaps of the Argentine captain.

She captioned her post: "The best match I have ever seen, ever!!! Look, I support Paris Saint Germain, why, one wonders, I love the French, speak it too, my heart goes out to you. But you have to understand, I Love MESSI."

She went to reveal: "And the best bit?….my husband is just fine with it. no need to….so Don’t cry for me or anybody else, Argentina!!!! OLE!!!"

She later added to her words in the comments section as she joked: "What a guy! Doesn’t care about my Messi posters all over the house, like….super cool."

In November, Catherine and Michael, 78, celebrated their 22nd wedding anniversary. In what seems to be a rarity in Hollywood, the two A-listers have made a lasting relationship since first getting together in 1998, and Catherine gushed over her "sweetheart" of a husband in a touching message.

She posted a snap of the pair on Instagram where she is wearing a summer hat and Michael is shirtless.

Alongside the post Catherine wrote: "22 years and one day! It’s in the fine details.. love you sweetheart. Happy Anniversary."

Michael also went public with his appreciation of his wife, posting two photos of the pair laughing and kissing on their wedding day in New York.

He wrote: "Happy Anniversary to my darling Catherine! I love you so much @catherinezetajones #22years."
