Cate Blanchett, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Jorja Smith attend the Harper's Bazaar Women of the Year Awards

On Tuesday night the Harper’s Bazaar Women of the Year Awards celebrated the achievements of actors, musicians and emerging designers.

Stars including Helena Bonham Carter, Cate Blanchett, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Ruth Wilson, Letitia Wright were honoured on the evening, supported by friends and colleagues such as Dominic West and Adwoa Aboah.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley turned out in a black David Koma gown which featured crystal straps and trimming. The model and actress won the Editor’s Choice Award on the evening.

She was supported by her fiance Jason Statham, who attended in a sharp Giorgio Armani suit.

Cate Blanchett brought sparkle to the evening in an Armani Prive jumpsuit, which was splashed with pops of red and blue.

Helena Bonham Carter sported one of the more playful looks on the carpet, wearing a black cocktail dress with an oversized hair bow and tulle cuffs.

The upcoming star of The Crown also features on one of the multiple cover of Harper’s Bazaar's December issue, where she discussed her divorce from Tim Burton and speculated there may have been “a romance” between her uncle and Princess Margaret, who she will play in season three.

She was presented her award by The Hour’s Dominic West.

Later on the evening, she and actress Ruth Wilson (who won TV Icon of the year) were also pictured smiling for the cameras. Wilson is set to star in the upcoming series of His Dark Materials, which is set to premiere on BBC and HBO.

Black Panther actress Letitia Wright won the Breakthrough Talent award on the night. Dressed in a pastel pink suit with an unusual waist detail, she was the epitome of smart casual glam as she paired it with a round neck tee and bold purple eyeshadow.

Model Adwoa Aboah was also spotted sweeping through the event in a ruffled strapless gown to present Wright with the award.

Alexa Chung's new luxury label was honoured on the evening with the Breakthrough Designer award. She attended in a white button-up mini dress cinched with a black waist belt.

Musician Jorja Smith was one of the brightest dressed stars on the red carpet in a yellow Zuhair Murad halter dress and Chopard necklace.

The awards were held in conjunction with Armani Beauty, who had their own beauty suite set up for the evening at the Claridge’s hotel venue.
