Catching up with the Boston Celtics’ offseason so far

During his usual end of season press conference, Boston Celtics President of Basketball Operations Brad Stevens gave a glimpse into the storied franchise’s future team building plans and thinking about how best to proceed in light of the NBA’s new collective bargaining agreement heading into a tricky offseason.

With a potential supermax extension in the cards for star forward Jaylen Brown to the tune of as much as nearly $300 million over the course of five years to think about in such a context alongside Grant Williams’ free agency, sorting out the team’s guard depth and other pressing concerns, Boston will have their hands full from now until training camp.
