Cat Deeley Storms Off ‘This Morning’ Set After TV Chef Calls Her a ‘Dirtbag’!

Cat Deeley, star of This Morning, hilariously stormed off the ITV show’s set after TV chef Donal Skehan jokingly called her a “dirtbag.” The playful exchange occurred when Skehan, who was appearing to demonstrate his banoffee pie recipe, revealed Cat’s cheeky off-air habit.

As the show went live, Cat and co-host Ben Shephard introduced Donal, who was set to share his twist on the classic dessert. Cat enthusiastically spoke about the ingredients, mentioning “biscuits and cream,” but before she could continue, Donal interrupted, revealing her naughty behavior.

“She picked up a Biscoff and literally dipped it in and took a big bite,” Donal said, turning to the cameras. “You are a dirtbag.” Cat, feigning mock outrage, responded by dramatically storming off set, waving to the camera and saying, “Bye, bye everybody,” as the show cut to an ad break. Ben and Donal were left in stitches, clearly amused by the lighthearted moment, according to the Mirror.

This playful incident comes just after This Morning faced some public backlash earlier this month. The show had sparked complaints when Reform UK Leader Nigel Farage made a surprise appearance. Farage, who had just returned from the United States for Donald Trump’s inauguration, was interviewed by Cat and Ben. During the segment, Farage reflected on the inauguration, joking about Trump’s victory rally and his memorable moment dancing with the Village People.

Many viewers were not pleased to see Farage on their screens. Social media erupted with frustrated fans voicing their opinions, with one writing, “Farage! FFS, why?? #thismorning” and another saying, “@Nigel_Farage quite funny seen a snake with you on tv for Chinese New Year. Quite fitting #snake #farage #thismorning.” The controversial appearance only added to the ongoing debate surrounding the show’s political guests.

Meanwhile, This Morning was not the only ITV program to spark controversy. Ahead of the show, Good Morning Britain was briefly interrupted after hosts Richard Madeley and Susanna Reid showed an AI-generated video of Gaza shared by US President Donald Trump. The bizarre clip featured golden statues of Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu by a resort pool, with a strange song in the background declaring, “Donald’s coming to set you free…”
