Castlederg crash: Police say four taken to hospital after road collision

Four people have been taken to hospital after a car crash, police say.

Police are appealing for information following the road traffic collision in Castlederg in the early hours of Sunday morning, May 21.

Inspector Campbell said: “At approximately 3.30am we received a report of a single road traffic collision in the Strabane Road area.

“Four people were taken to hospital for treatment for their injuries.

“I would appeal to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or to anyone with CCTV or dash-cam that could assist with enquiries, to contact police on 101 quoting reference 294 of 21/05/23.”

Police say the road remains closed at this time and drivers are advised to seek an alternative route for their journey. A spokesman added: “Further updates will be provided in due course.”
