Castle Douglas Burns Supper proves to be a great night

There was a good turnout for the Castle Douglas Burns Supper which was held at the Kings Arms Hotel on Friday night.

Chairman Graham Bell presided and welcomed the members and friends and also proposed the Immortal Memory.

The haggis was piped in by Billy McGoldrick and addressed by Robin Wallace. After the meal and the Immortal Memory to the Bard there were songs and recitations and other toasts were proposed by Alastair Nelson (The Lassies), Alec Ross (Drouthie Cronies), Austin Paterson (Toasts and Artistes).
