People have been left baffled after a mannequin was set up outside a cashpoint.
Customers at the Tesco on Albert Road in Southport were made to wait behind a mannequin that was placed there for an elaborate prank. The video uploaded by Daniel Green has racked up 110K likes and more than 8,000 shares.
In the video, Daniel explains how he set up the dummy affectionately known as "Derek". Two customers can be seen patiently waiting to use the cash point, Daniel can then jumps out of his car to join the growing queue.

After some time waiting Daniel decides to tap Derek on the shoulder revealing the mannequin. As he picks Derek up to take him away his head falls off leaving the onlookers in shock.
At the end of the video, you can see him laughing while carrying Derek away. Since posting, the video has had more than 1,700 comments
One person said: "Three minutes ago I don’t think you could have convinced me that watching people wait in line would be entertaining, but here I am." Another commented: "why did the lady just stand there? Your time is precious. I would have walked up and asked to move."
One person said: "This is the first TikTok video that I have physically cried with laughter I cannot cope my other half is amazed never seen me laugh so much." Another remarked: "Now this is a real prank. No one gets hurt just straight-up fun."
