Cash and jewellery stolen in Dumbarton break-in

Cash, jewellery and electrical equipment have been stolen in an alleged break-in at a property in Dumbarton.

Police Scotland believe the property on Perrays Crescent was entered sometime between 3.30pm on Tuesday, February 21 and 12.30am, in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

The force is investigating the incident.

Detective Constable Thomas O’Donnell of Clydebank Police Station said: “Our enquiries are ongoing and I would urge anyone who may have information to come forward.

“We would be keen to speak to anyone who may have seen any suspicious people or vehicles on the street and in particular a car or van with a roof rack which was in the area."
