Manchester United fans have been expressing their delight after midfielder Scott McTominay produced an excellent performance for Scotland on Wednesday night.
The 25-year-old played the full 90 minutes as Steve Clarke's side brushed aside Ukraine 3-0 at Hampden Park. He operated in his usual role in central midfield, having previously been played as a centre-back in a back-three for his country.
McTominay was sharp in the tackle and put in an assured display as the Scots went top of their Nations League group after four games. The United star, who was making his 36th appearance for his country, has become a key player for Erik ten Hag's team this season.
He has started every game in their impressive four-match winning streak in the Premier League, although he is just one booking away from receiving a one-match ban after picking up four cautions already.
