Casemiro sends one-word message after scoring dramatic first Manchester United goal vs Chelsea

Casemiro took to social media to express what his first Manchester United goal meant to him, following his last-gasp equaliser against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Saturday evening.

Trailing 1-0 to Jorginho's 87th-minute penalty, United looked set to be condemned to their first Premier League defeat in four matches. However, deep into stoppage time, Casemiro rose highest inside the penalty area to meet Luke Shaw's centre and head the ball over the line, via the post and the outstretched hand of Kepa Arrizabalaga.

Shaw's cross looked set to be met by Scott McTominay, who had earlier committed a foul on Armando Broja to gift Chelsea a penalty. Casemiro, however, rose head and shoulders above everyone to direct a header towards goal, earning the Reds a valuable and fully deserved point.

The Brazilian raced over to the travelling contingent of United supporters behind the goal and quickly found himself buried under a pile of his teammates, such was the dramatic nature of his goal. Once eventually free, he unleashed several roars, highlighting just how much the goal meant to him.

And the significance of what the goal meant to him was there for everyone to see in his post-match Instagram post as well. Taking to the social media platform, the former Real Madrid man, who was outstanding in midfield, simply posted: "YESSSS!!"

It was evident, via both his goal celebration and the social media post, that it meant everything to him. He attacked Shaw's cross in such a way that made him look as though he wanted to score at all costs. It was an outstanding header and it earned United what could be a valuable point in the top-four race come the end of the season.
