Casemiro United transfer explained
Manchester United have agreed a deal to sign Real Madrid midfielder Casemiro on a four-year contract with the option of an additional year.
United are set to sign the Brazil international for a fee of £60million rising to £70m, depending on performance-related add-ons.
Casemiro will become one of United's highest earners on what has been described as a heavily performance-related contract, with significantly higher earnings if the club are in the Champions League.
Antony addresses Ajax future amid 'strike' reports
Ajax winger Antony has addressed his future at the Amsterdam club amid interest from Manchester United this summer.
The Brazilian scored on the opening weekend of the Eredivisie season as Ajax thrashed FC Groningen 6-1 at the Johan Cruyff Arena. However, reports from the Netherlands on Friday suggested that the 22-year-old did not take part in training despite being at the club's training complex
De Telegraaf also reported that Ajax had rejected an €80m bid from United on Thursday and that it was unclear whether or not his absence was down to an injury or his unhappiness at seeing a move being rejected. In an interview with De Telegraaf, Antony addressed the speculation regarding his future.
