Manchester United summer signing Casemiro has revealed he spoke to Raphael Varane and Fred about life at Old Trafford before completing his move from Real Madrid.
The Brazil international was officially unveiled as a new United signing earlier in the week after United agreed a £60million fee, rising to £70m, with Real Madrid for his services.
Casemiro, 30, put pen to paper on a four-year contract at Old Trafford, with the option for an additional year, and could make his United debut for against Southampton this weekend.

The former Real Madrid midfielder already knew a lot about United before he completed his transfer, but says he confided in both Fred and Varane about what to expect before his move.
“Well, before coming here I spoke to Fred," he told official club media. "He's a friend who I've played alongside in the national team for a good number of games and years. I know him well.
"He's a great player and that's why he plays for Manchester United and for the Brazilian national team, which is difficult to get into. So, I have a special relationship with him and of course he's a great player and that's why he plays for Manchester United.”
When asked if he had spoken with former Real Madrid teammates Cristiano Ronaldo and Varane, he added: “Yes, I've spoken to Rafa. He tells me he's happy. His family is very happy here in Manchester and I feel Manchester United have a great centre-back in him and, as we know, Cristiano is up there as one of the best players in the history of football and I think he'll keep achieving things.”
