Beautiful unseen images of Caroline Flack show power of star's 'Be Kind' message

Two years on from her heartbreaking death, Caroline Flack's legacy is continuing to raise funds for good causes.

With the blessing of the late TV presenter's family, the final professional photograph taken of Caroline will go on sale to raise money for charity on the second anniversary of her death tomorrow - with a saying now associated to her memory also incorporated into the limited edition prints.

The original Love Island host lost her life to suicide at the age of 40 on 15 February 2020 and in the wake of her tragic death, one of her final social media posts went on to influence the 'Be Kind' movement.

"In a world where you can be anything, be kind," read the inspiring quote shared to Caroline's Instagram page in December 2019.

The now-poignant quote is the inspiration behind the print set to be released by The Connor Brothers on 15 February 2022.

"Just over two years ago Caroline Flack came to our studio to be photographed for a portrait she wanted to commission," the photographers have recalled when discussing the fundraising image.

"She was a joy to work with, and her playful personality and appetite for life were infectious. Like everyone else, we were entirely unaware at the time that this would be Caroline's last photoshoot."

The added: "Although we only met Caroline once, she left a big impression on us with her warmth and humour, and we were devastated by the news of her untimely death."

The limited edition print will be available through The Connor Brothers' online shop and all sale proceeds will be jointly donated to CALM, the UK's leading suicide prevention charity, and CHOOSE LOVE, a campaign that was close to Caroline's heart.

Caroline's friends and family got in touch with The Connor Brothers after her heartbreaking death in 2020, asking the artists to go ahead with the portrait she wanted to commission prior to her passing.

"Caroline loved shooting with the Connor Brothers," Jody Flack, the late star's twin sister, has said about the special charity commission.

"I'm so pleased they have created such a powerful image from the shoot, and even more pleased that it’s for two really great charities.

"The whole thing really captures her spirit and she would have loved it."

Choose Love, one of the charities that will benefit from the sale of the special print, was an organisation that Caroline frequently and passionately championed throughout her life.

Jody and the late star's close friend Natalie Pinkham both wore Choose Love T-shirts to the National Television Awards last year, when the Channel 4 documentary Caroline Flack: Her Life and Death was up for an award.

Choose Love has raised millions to support refugees and created a movement of people putting love into action around the world, and in 2016, became the largest grassroots distributor of aid in Europe.

The special print will be available to purchase tomorrow (Tuesday 15th Feb) at 5pm GMT exclusively via The Connor Brothers online shop.
