Caroline Flack makes defiant statement as she shows off bikini body after Andrew Brady split

Caroline Flack made a defiant statement as she showed off her bikini body in a series of holiday snaps in the wake of her split from on-off lover Andrew Brady.

The Love Island presenter, who has had a turbulent year when it comes to love, put her romantic troubles aside as she kicked off 2019 with a luxurious Thailand getaway.

Flack, 39, has been keeping her fans up-to-date with her trip abroad, sharing a short video as she waited for her pals to catch her up for dinner.

Sporting an animal print dress, Flack said: “I'm always the first one to arrive at a restaurant, tonight I'm even the first person in the restaurant.

“But we're in Bangkok baby.”

The relaxing break comes after a month-long stint as Roxie Hart in hit West End musical Chicago, as well as rehearsing and appearing in the Strictly Come Dancing Christmas special.

Flack’s ex-lover Brady, who she met last January, has also taken some time away from the UK. The former Apprentice candidate recently jetted off on a one-way flight to Australia.

The reality star reportedly decided it was time to start again after “becoming paranoid on social media for fear what people thought and what the press would write”.

In an emotional Instagram statement, he called 2018 the “biggest lesson in his life with the highest highs and the lowest lows”.

He wrote: “I have dragged myself out of downward spiral of 2018 and I’m jumping in to 2019 with a smile on my face and scars on my body. But I’m one of the lucky ones who can and I’m very excited to start a new journey, see a new country and experience a new culture and way of life. I’m going to miss my friends and family but knowing they support this means everything to me.

“I’m now lucky enough to be drawing a line in the sand on 2018 and embracing the next chapter in my life. I am about to take off on a one way flight to Australia without a plan but with excitement of the unknown.

“In 2019 I will rid myself of guilt, insecurities of what people think of me and self doubt. I will know my true worth and I will surround myself with good people, smile more and more every day and find my happy place again.”
