They might’ve been fun today, at least to start, but the Carolina Panthers suffered the same fate as they have the previous five weeks.

Keys to the game
- The Dolphins offense did what the Dolphins offense does and sawed its way through the day. Headlining the 42-point output was running back Raheem Mostert, who rushed for 115 yards and two touchdowns in 17 attempts. He also reeled in three catches for 17 yards and another score.
- Tyreek Hill also did Tyreek Hill things. He was, per usual, out of his flippin’ mind—torching a depleted Carolina secondary for 163 yards and a touchdown.
- After a hot 14-0 start to the afternoon, the Panthers offense stalled. They were, of course, shut out for the final three quarters—with their only other score coming on a 61-yard interception return by cornerback Troy Hill.

Already down 14 points at the start the fourth quarter, the Panthers let the relentless Dolphins offense on their doorstep yet again. And bursting through the door, with just over 12 minutes remaining in the game, was Mostert with his third touchdown of the afternoon.
The 1-yard score gave Miami a 35-14 lead.
