Carol Vorderman and her rarely-seen daughter Katie enjoyed an incredible night out at the Lewis Capaldi concert.
The former Countdown presenter, 62, and her daughter Katie, 32, were filmed having a blast at the hilarious singer's concert in Cardiff.
Carol took to Instagram to share a few clips and snaps from their night out with their pal and Lewis' voice coach Yvie Burnett.
In the first video, Carol and Lewis stood side-by-side backstage as he said hello to her fans and joked he was 'average at best.'
He said: "Hello everybody on the Internet, I was average at best, C Vorders in the building, we love it!"
Other clips showed the women listening to him croon as they stood to the side of the stage.
They also posed for a selfie together and smiled at the camera.
She captioned the post: "LEWIS CAPALDI. What a great night... OMG Lewis @lewiscapaldi you're amazing."
Carol added: "Backstage with my Scottish sis @yvieburnett....Lewis voice coach (and to Sam Smith too....she's one of the best in the world....and I love her to bits.
"Inspired my girl @katie.science to get her guitar out again and do some open mic gigs."
Carol shares her daughter Katie and son, Cameron, 25, with ex-husband Patrick King.
The duo tied the knot in 1990 and stayed together for 10 years.
Towards the end of 2021, Carol celebrated her daughter's achievements in a sweet tribute.
Carol was excited to see her daughter follow in her footsteps by attending Cambridge university – where the TV star left with a third-class degree, while Katie graduated with a Ph.D in nanotechnology.
Taking to Instagram at the time, Carol described herself and her daughter as “girls who geek” and shared an impassioned statement about the importance of supporting women in science.
The star uploaded a string of photos to her main feed of herself and her daughter, writing: “Katie has just finished her PhD here in nanotechnology (research scientist).
“I read Engineering here many years ago in only the 3rd year when ‘boys’ colleges also began to take girls in too. 300 students studying engineering that year, including about 4 girls.”
She continued: “Things in education have improved since then.
“But my college took a chance on me. I was from a comprehensive school on free school meals in North Wales and a year ahead of my time (I went to uni age 17), the differences between comp schools and private schools were extreme.
“But my college were believers, and still are, in helping kids from poorer backgrounds as long as they're bright and work hard.”
She went on: “I love my college and I give back with joy and thanks.
“This weekend was the first big college dinner for two years, So Katie and I went both wearing our black academic gowns.
“Made me very happy. And made me think about geeky girls and the joys we get from our subjects.”
