Carol Vorderman stormed with homophobic comments after posting party photograph

Former Countdown star, Carol Vorderman, has been stormed with homophobic comments after posting a photo from Alison Hammond's birthday party. The maths genius, who has a home in Clifton, shared the picture on her Instagram.

Carol posed alongside a drag queen, with both looking stunning in long tight dresses and glitter make-up. She captioned the photo: "BLOODY GOOD PARTY! Happy Birthday Kween @alisonhammond55. And your Aidan. Having too good a night."

But sadly some of her fans weren't impressed with the photo, with many of her followers attacking her for choosing to pose with a drag queen.

One person wrote: "More disappointed in you daily. You attack the right for corruption while promoting the cultural corruption of the left. You have become part of everything wrong with Britain and western culture. Shame on you."

However, lots of fans did have nice things to say about the birthday photograph. One follower wrote: "You look fabulous Carol." Another said: "Carol looking beautiful."

"Dear oh me. People in 2023 are wild with prejudice! Carol and friend you look fabulous, twin colours," someone else wrote.

Carol later shared video footage from the night, which saw her cosying up with Dermot O'Leary and dance in a long wig. She wrote: "It was the Kween’s birthday party last night with her son Aiden who turned 18. What a night. All of the This Morning team were there.

"Ended up doing the worst impression of Cher ever seen and singing Fields of Athenry in the bar till ‘go home o’clock’... Top night.... Happy Birthday A and A, love you. Time for breakfast."
