Carol Vorderman slates 'spoilt' Harry and Meghan for 'no genorosity of spirit' during ITV This Morning interview

TV personality and presenter Carol Vorderman has weighed in on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's new Netflix docu-series. The series, Harry & Meghan, which has taken the world by storm, promised to explain what prompted the couple's decision to leave the Royal Family.

Speaking to Dermot O'Leary and Alison Hammond on This Morning, the 61-year-old former Countdown host shared her thoughts on the six-part series. "Six hours of my life that I'll never get back," Carol began before adding, "The [last] three episodes, I was like 'Really?' I felt that there was a sense of being spoilt and overprivileged.

"There was no generosity of spirit I felt towards those who have also suffered," she continued before Gyles Brandreth shared how Harry and Meghan had once complained about Nottingham Cottage being "small".

Carol confirmed that she felt that there were some "inconsistencies" in the series. "Obviously today, the press are having to go back through [the series] and picking out a fair few inconsistencies." She then stressed: "If you're going to come out with a strong story, please check that you're not saying one thing back in March and now something else. There are inconsistencies."

Elsewhere in the interview, Carol also voiced her support for the striking nurses, saying that they were underpaid and shouldn't have to take industrial action.
