Carol Vorderman has slammed Deputy Prime Minister Dominic Raab after he mistook Paul O'Grady with Larry Grayson.
The star branded the politician a "bully" after he accidentally referred to O'Grady as "Paul Grayson", whilst filling in for Rushi Sunak during Wednesday's Prime Minister's Questions.
Raab went on to correct himself, and described him as an "incredible comic" reports Birmingham Live.
The 62-year-old immediately took to Twitter. She wrote: "DominDick Ar*e Ooh soz I got his name wrong."
The Channel Countdown star wrote: "Name checking Paul O'Grady as 'Paul Grayson' in the House of Commons today For many reasons, I think there's a special place in hell for this bullying piece of...... Don't you?"
But Kevin clapped back, saying: "Where has innocent until proven guilty gone, Carol? Really quite a low tweet, even for you. I think the way you behave on twitter sometimes, as demonstrated in your current tweet, it’s you that’s the bully here. Or is it only applicable if you’re a Tory?"
Alice said: "He then went onto suggest he knew what Paul O’Grady and Lily Savage would both (yeah he seems to think they’re two people) would think politically. Despite Paul being vocal anti Tory. Disrespectful and arrogant of raab." Susan said: "I’ve never liked Raab, but this made my blood boil. Paul O’Grady will be missed. Unlike Raab."
Carl wrote: "I genuinely couldn’t believe this. I get that sometimes people make mistakes, but it was the look on his face afterwards. It was completely disrespectful." Tony commented: "Paul O'Grady will be missed by the millions of people who tuned in to watch him on TV, or who listened to him on a Sunday afternoon when he was on radio 2. He always came across as a gentle kind person and never judgemental. Rest in peace Paul."
Sofi said: "Exactly. Paul was a remarkable and caring person, people will remember him for all his good work, his caring nature and for bringing a bit of joy to people's lives. No one gives a toss about Raab." Shane said: "The nerve of invoking Paul O'Grady to try and further his 'anti woke' nonsense. If anyone had compassion and wanted equality for all it was Paul."
