Carol Vorderman has celebrated the 29th birthday of her lookalike daughter Katie King by sharing a number of rare snaps of her first-born .
The 60-year-old TV presenter said Katie was "loving", "talented" and a "geek" as she paid tribute to her daughter's achievements.
Carol shared a number of pics from recent years as she told how "proud" she was of Katie, with one of the photos showing her daughter at NASA headquarters.
Katie applied for a job as an astronaut with the European Space Agency (ESA) in February.
She is currently a research scientist at Cambridge University.
Captioning the gallery of photos, Carol wrote:"'Happy Birthday to my kind, hilarious, hard working, loving, talented, geek girl Katie @katie.science .....
"Katie was 2 months premature (worrying times).

"It's not often I ever talk about my children....I kept their lives very private as kids but now they're grown up...well I'm allowed to say how proud I am of them both....
"Happy Birthday Katie King ....soooooooo many adventures to come.....bring it on."
Carol also shares 24-year-old son Cameron with her ex-husband Patrick King and has recently told OK! magazine that she no longer cares what the public perception is of her.
She said: 'I don't really care what anyone thinks of me. I know who I am and my mates know who I am.
"Life's great and I have absolutely not a single complaint. I could not have dreamt that at this stage in my life, I would be living the outrageous life I live.
"I've got two mottos in life. One is 'You're a long time dead' - which I used in the normal world but not now. It basically means if there's mischief to be had I'm first in the queue.
"It's quite funny because the Carol people see on the telly is not the Carol in the real world at all.
"Another rule I live by is find what makes you happy and do more of it."
