Carol Vorderman has said there "ain’t no stopping me" as she told fans of her plans for 2023. The former Countdown star has previously teased how she was 'going back to her quiz roots' while addressing the possibility of a return to the Channel 4 show.
The TV star, who appeared on Countdown for 26 years from 1982 to 2008, revealed on Instagram back in October that she'd had a 'very busy day' filming for an upcoming project. "VERY busy day filming the first of a new project I AM VERY VERY EXCITED ABOUT..." she shared at the time alongside a trio of images of herself flaunting her sensational curves.
"Going back to my quiz roots which I've always loved....." she added. But she did clarify before the comments came rolling in: "No, not lovely Countdown." C arol went on: "But something new...starting in the New Year... Will be sharing it all soon with you. I think you'll like it very much."

But now, Carol has revealed some more of her plans for next year after revealing her own serious stalker battle. In a post, again to her Instagram page, the This Morning regular shared her favourite moments embracing the outdoors in 2022, including when she went to a juicing retreat in Portugal.
"OUTDOORS 2022," the 62-year-old started in the caption. "I’m alive and breathe when I’m outdoors, properly outside. From @juicemasterretreats @jasonvale walking 13 miles a day with @jules__sampson… to hiking in the @breconbeaconsnp to beachcombing…. I just love it all."
She went on to say: "Next year I’ll be away much more in my @vordervan. Had to go with my friends in their vans this year because of a bit of a ‘Vorder stalker’ thing going on. But ‘civil restraining orders’ have now been signed, so ONWARDS." Carol then concluded: "Ain’t no stopping me now, I’m on the move.'"
And fans were soon showing support. @nataliebrereton said: "This looks gorgeous Carol! Looking forward to following your adventures!" @the_ormes_outdoors wrote: "Awesome adventures. Look forwards to seeing all of your adventures in your van next year." @anya_thegarden_fairy commented: "I look forward to seeing your adventures 2023."
It comes after Carol hit back at money jibes as she told her followers about how she 'loves life'. Sharing a glimpse at her latest column for the Express, the presenter shared on Instagram: "HOW I LITERALLY LOVE MY LIFE. Simple game....give EVERYTHING, a job. A holiday. A relationship. A day. A night out. Marks Out of 10....BUT you have to accept that 7/10 is a win.....cos then it doesn't matter if something is a 7, an 8, a 9 or a 10. A WIN is a WIN."
She added: "Something strange happens psychologically when you do this....counting UP makes your brain look for positives everywhere and once you get to 7/10. You're the winner...it becomes a wonderful habit. Follow up with 'given the chance to relive something exactly as it was. You can't change it. Would you still do it again Game'. You'll find some interesting answers."
And while she was applauded by fellow TV stars Davina McCall and Anita Rani, some didn't take too kindly to Carol's suggestion. One said: "You have the money to love life. Everyone else has to scrabble around for basic resources." But Carol was quick to clap back: "I was a free school meals kid with a single parent and a father who didn't want to know me until I was in my 40s. Homeless often and fatherless. I think it's that hardship that made me know that all of my life is a bonus."
