Stars came out in force for the 2022 Pride of Britain Awards, which honours the nations unsung heroes. The event, which was held on Monday, October 24 and will air this Thursday on ITV, is hosted by Carol Vorderman - who has led proceedings at the event since 1999.
As ever, the 61-year-old oozed elegance as she arrived on the red carpet in a stunning dress of the same colour. Taking to Instagram to confirm her outfit, Carol said: "Last year I wore this stunning red dress made by @suzanneneville on the stage to host the show. This year we’re adding a simple chiffon train and wearing it on the red carpet. I’m so happy for two reasons. I really love this dress....and it still fits. Ha."
Carol was joined on the red carpet by her two children - Katie and Cameron, who rarely make public appearances. For more showbiz and television stories get our newsletter here .

Carol would quickly get changed to host the event onstage, wearing a dark grey, silk dress from Isabel Kristensen.
Speaking about her change of attire, the host told HELLO! : “We’re doing things a little bit differently this year, we’ve been working hard to make the whole event as green as we can. As part of that, for my red carpet and on-stage outfits, I’m wearing two dresses that I have worn before, so we’ve upcycled two of the amazing dresses that have been made for me.”
The Pride of Britain Awards 2022 airs at 8pm on ITV on Thursday, October 27
