Carol Vorderman has responded to fans after they thought she appeared naked in a video she posted to social media. The former Countdown host took a break from her sun-soaked holiday to tell fans she had joined TikTok.
She shared a video on social media, urging fans to join her and have "a lot of fun" on the video-sharing platform. In the video, she said: "Hello you lovely lot, I'm now on TikTok. Well, who'd have thought it?
"I'll see you there. If you click on the link in my bio, we can have a lot of fun on that. Looking forward to it. Have a lovely day, lots of love from Portugal."
But fans were left to do a double take as the 61-year-old appeared to be topless in the short clip. However, she was in fact wearing a nude-coloured bikini which made her appear to be wearing no clothes.
Carol also placed her hair over both shoulders, leaving the swimsuit only partially visible. One follower commented: "That flesh coloured bikini top made me look twice …. and I doubt I was the only one."
Another said: "I could have sworn you were topless, you are simply sensational. Hot beyond belief." A simply asked: "Are you topless?" A follower also wrote: "Nearly had a heart attack thinking your topless."
And Celebrity Gogglebox star Carol clearly saw the comments as she updated the caption of her video on Instagram to read: Laughing but I AM NOT TOPLESS... Just wearing a new bikini top from @omgmiamiswimwear....matching my SUN TAN courtesy of @tancreamworld....a brilliant SPF50 with instant bronzer included
"Anyway, I’m now on TikTok! No idea what I’m doing (obvs) but it’s going to be lots of fun." And she has uploaded her first video, taking fans on a tour of Juice Master Retreats in Portugal where she is currently enjoying a boot camp.
