Carol Vorderman puts her foot down over I'm A Celebrity campmates not pulling their weight

As one of the oldest campmates in I'm A Celebrity... South Africa, Welsh TV presenter Carol Vorderman has taken on a lot of the camp responsibilities, alongside fellow campmate Fatima Whitbread. Now, in scenes set to air on Wednesday, May 3, Carol and Fatima plan to crack the whip in camp, as they become frustrated by their fellow celebrities.

During the night, Fatima wakes Andy up to tend to the fire, as his role on wood drop dictates he should. Fed up with having to remind people to do their chores, Fatima and Carol decide to take action.

Carol says: “I think we need to remind them what their responsibilities are.” She adds: “There are quite a lot of people not pulling their weight.” Fatima says: “They need guidance.” You can keep up to date with the latest TV and showbiz news by signing up to the newsletter here.

So far there has been little drama in camp, other than the contraband controversy where several campmates, including Paul Burrell with coffee and Myleene Klass with seasoning hidden in a scrunchie, admitted they had brought in secret goods. Fatima was particularly unimpressed that some celebrities had broken the rules.

Later in the series Gillian McKeith revealed she had smuggled salt into camp in a condom. Gillian revealed she had hidden more stuff in her knickers with spices, garlic and salt in a condom among the goods.

Revealing her secret goods to camp, she said: "Sea salt! It's inside a condom, it was the only way to get it inside... it's not been used." Gillian's fellow celebrities were stunned by her news.

Amir Khan said: "Gillian had literally a whole tuck shop in her underpants. So much stuff...the list just went on and on!" while Carol Vorderman exclaimed: "Bloody hell Gillian!".

Do you think the drama will kick off in the camp when Fatima and Carol lay down the law? Let us know in the comments below.

I'm a Celebrity... South Africa continues weeknights on ITV1 and ITVX.
