Carol Vorderman broke down in tears on tonight's episode of I'm A Celebrity All Stars as she took on her ultimate fear.
The presenter and TV personality took on the latest challenge alongside Fatima Whitbread, where she had to swim through a water tunnel and collect a series of stars in order to win dinner for the whole camp.
As they arrived at the trial clearing, Carol was clearly nervous about what was going to happen.
Ant told them: "This is Tanks of Torment. Carol, it’s your job to swim through the four sections of the tank, collecting stars as you go," as Dec shared: "You will only be able to move through the sections once Fatima has raised the doors that separate them."
Fans heaped praise on Carol for facing her fear, as she broke down and admitted it was so tough for her as she struggled with her fear of drowning. She said she was usually very strong but that was her biggest fear and she struggled to cope with the task as a whole.
Carol refused to do the last chamber, admitting that not knowing if she could put her head up into the breathing hole because a snake was there left her struggling and unable to complete the task.
Viewers took to social media to praise Carol, as one wrote: "I have massive phobia of drowning too so I understand completely where Carol was coming from and I wouldnt do it either, she did well though #ImACeleb."
"Want to give carol a hug. That would have been hard for anyone. I like snakes and I wouldn't have been able to do the last one with the snake in the only breathe hole. F*** that #ImACeleb," a second added.
A third shared: "I'm with Carol, it's my biggest phobia, I can't even put my head under a shower let alone under water, well done Carol #ImACeleb," with a fourth penning: "I am so proud of Carol. Fear of drowning is such a scary phobia so to do all of those tanks is absolutely incredible; she should be proud of herself #ImACeleb."
Ahead of her stint on the show, which was pre-recorded, Carol admitted she really struggled with some and "nearly died".
She said: "Some of the trials are: "HOLY C**P! How did I live?! I’m not exaggerating. There was one trial that petrified me. And I’m not frightened of anything. I don’t think I’ve ever been as scared in my life. And the b****rs took what we’d call a trial – I was thinking: ‘I can cope with that because I’ve done it before’ – and put it on speed. Everyone will love watching it. It was brutal."
