Carol Vorderman has admitted to finding pimple-popping "quite satisfying" as the I'm A Celeb campers enjoy a jungle spa treatment. For two weeks, celebrities have been camped in the South African jungle and it's fair to say the star's usual cleanliness and hygiene standards have started to turn.
It was revealed on the show yesterday (May 8) Joe Swash had not changed his pants for a grand total of five days, saying he 'felt sorry for them' as he finally switched them out. Meanwhile, on tonight's program (May 9) Helen Flannagan complained of several 'blackheads' she had apparently picked up while living in camp.
She said: "I've been in here for nearly two weeks. You can't shower properly, the toilet is disgusting. I've not cleansed or exfoliated my face I feel so grubby."
While Joe admitted he couldn't see anything, the actress insisted they were 'really bad' before asking her campmates for help. "If anyone fancies having a go at being a dermatologist," she asked with musician Myleen Klass helpfully giving her a hand.
A relieved Helen, 32, told her: "If you can help me with my skin I'd appreciate it."
Not wanting to risk infection, Myleen, 45, donned some plastic gloves before settling in to squeeze at Helen's face, with a captivated Carol Vorderman watching nearby. As the camera zoomed in on Myleen's gloved hands pinching Helen's nose, Carol gave a quick laugh as she watched.
Carol later admitted to finding it a bit fascinating. She told the camera: "You're either in one camp or another, aren't you. You either go 'Eugh, I don't understand why people watch it', or it's quite satisfying."
