Carol Vorderman has celebrated 40 years of appearing on TV.
The former Countdown presenter looked back on the past year as she marked four decades of being a household name. Taking to Instagram she shared a montage of various clips of her on TV, including stepping in on ITV's Lorraine, joining This Morning and hosting the Pride of Britain Awards.
As she celebrated her achievements, famous friends flocked to the comments to compliment her work. One person to provide praise was Christine McGuinness, who said: "Amazing Carol and still looking unreal every time!"

In response Carol made a Scouse request as she said: "Love you missus x. I need a Scouse night out."
Carol's post in full read: "40 YEARS ON THE TELLY THIS YEAR. Still around doing a bit of telly since 1982 and enjoying it lots.
"On Daily Mirror @prideofbritain Awards we celebrated 23 years on air....my dear friend Peter Willis created it and we brought it to telly all that time ago. Heck. Still love it."
She added: "And now being a small part of the @thismorning family with so many lovely people...it’s a total joy. Hosting Lorraine for a while and appearing on lots of shows as a guest, it’s been a great year.
"Doing a rap on @bignarstie @thebignarstieshow … laughing. So much more planned for 2023....starting with @taskmaster on New Year’s Day...see you there.
"And then an exciting daily quizzy riddly video and podcast from Monday to Friday starting on January 9th...it’s called PERFECT TEN and all done in 10 minutes. New types of questions which I think you’re going to love.
"And thank YOU for all the lovely messages. Means the world. Happy New Year from me....Vorders x".
