Carol Vorderman has addressed fans' concerns over her absence from This Morning.
The former Countdown presenter normally appears as a guest on the ITV talk show alongside her long-term friend Gyles Brandreth. In an update on Twitter, she confirmed that she would be missing from the show for a couple of weeks.
The 62-year-old presenter has touched on a number of controversial topics during her time on the show, including her own sex life and politics. Addressing fans' concerns, she wrote: "Morning. Thank you for all of your messages."

She added: "I'm off on a holiday today for a week so FYI back on This Morning in two weeks time on 24th. Lots going on. All good. Have a cracking Friday...xx Don't forget for a 10 minute quirky quiz try Perfect 10..."
On Instagram, she shared that she would be getting off on holiday with her son, Cameron. Ahead of getting ready for the airport, she shared a clip of herself on a walk.
Speaking into the camera, Carol said: "Hello lovelies, I'm just having a little happy scruff walk before we go to the airport. I'm so excited.
"We're actually off to Jordan to see Petra and all the beautiful archaeological sites there. So I'm taking my boy Cameron with me, he's 26 years old tomorrow, my baby."
