Carol Vorderman has issued a health update on Lorraine Kelly.
The former Countdown host has stepped in to front the popular chat show after the Scottish presenter tested positive for coronavirus. She appeared on Good Morning Britain to tease what is coming up on today's episode.
Susanna Reid fronted Tuesday's edition of ITV news programme and was thrilled as Carol provided a positive update on Lorraine's condition. Carol said: "She's feeling great, which is fantastic.

"Hopefully, she'll be here later in the week but there's still all the tests and everything. Fingers crossed." Lorraine thanked Carol for hosting the show in her absence.
She said: "Well the Covid has finally got me and I tested positive at the weekend. Thanks to the vaccine it’s not too bad and I hope to be back at work very soon. Huge thanks to @carolvorders who will be hosting @lorraine until I’m back."
Fans flooded the comments to wish Lorraine a speedy recovery.
