Carol Vorderman in hysterics over cheeky 'group sex' blunder on This Morning

Carol Vorderman was left red-faced as the This Morning sofa laughed over a cheeky misunderstanding.

The former Countdown star joined Vanessa Feltz and Nick Ferrari on the show on Friday morning with hosts Dermot O'Leary and Alison Hammond.

Early in the show, the presents discussed Gwyneth Paltrow's new page on her Goop website dedicated to sex.

Carol, who already took a look at that page, shared some of the facts she learned from 'Goop Sex'.

"There's one technique apparently for stronger orgasms called edging, which is stopping and starting all the time," she explained in the morning programme.

Alison asked: "Do you think this the platform we were missing? Do you think we were missing this Vanessa?"

"No, I have not been missing it," Vanessa replied, keeping the conversation short.

Alison then asked Nick - who appeared on a video link - the same question.

However, Nick was more concerned about whether Carol accidentally said 'group sex'.

Nick asked: "Can I clarify, when Carol started, did she say Goop sex or group sex?"

He questioned again: "Goop or group sex? I couldn't quite hear."

The entire time they were discussing the subject, Dermot and Carol couldn't stop giggling.

Alison said: "It's Goop sex," while Carol gasped and tried to defend herself.

Saving the day, Vanessa added: "Nick Ferrari just wants Carol Vorderman to say group sex on television, that's all he's saying."

Viewers have been watching a heavy dose of Carol lately as she appeared on the All Stars version of I'm A Celebrity.

The former Countdown star, 62, first appeared on the iconic ITV show back in 2016, and she's back in camp in South Africa seven years later alongside other All Stars including Janice Dickinson, Shaun Ryder, and Gillian McKeith and her former 2016 campmate Jordan Banjo.

As viewers tuned into Wednesday's instalment of the new series – which saw Made In Chelsea star Toff take on one of the most gruesome and terrifying challenges yet – eagle-eyed I'm A Celebrity fans couldn't help but notice one of Carol's prominent habits.

The much-loved TV star's distinctive laugh appears to have annoyed some viewers, with one or two even threatening to switch off the show.
