Carol Vorderman is returning to a popular quiz show after 17 years. The I'm A Celebrity... South Africa campmate has a host of roles in the TV world at the moment, often appearing alongside Gyles Brandreth on This Morning to discuss the hottest headlines of the day with presenters Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield.
Clifton resident Carol will return to the Have I Got News For You? panel in an upcoming episode of the BBC quiz show. The 62-year-old last appeared on the show 17 years ago, BirminghamLive reports.
Carol's return to Have I Got News For You? will air on Friday, May 26, and will see her joined by Britain's Got Talent finalist Nabil Abdulrashid. Now in its 65th series, Ian Hislop and Paul Merton returned to the panel for the latest edition of the show last month.

The BBC programme sees two teams, captained by Hislop and Merton, plus a guest panelist for each, answering questions relating to news stories published in the week leading up to the episode's broadcast. The new series will run for ten episodes, concluding on Friday, June 16.
The news of Carol's return to the Have I Got News For You? panel comes as the I'm A Celebrity spin-off nears its final, with Carol amongst those vying for the title of the first ever "I'm A Celebrity Legend". Wednesday night's episode, May 10, had fans in stitches as the Countdown whiz took on a trial riddled with innuendoes with the late Princess Diana's former butler Paul Burrell.
Carol and Paul were tasked with with climbing a wall whilst pushing their hands into various crevices filled with slimy fish guts, frogs and offal. As they attempted to win meals for their fellow campmates, the duo spewed several tongue-in-cheek comments, with Paul calling out to Carol at one point: "I can't get it up Carol!"
As I'm A Celeb hosts Ant and Dec joked that they were playing "innuendo bingo", fans laughed about the trial on Twitter. "The audio version of that trial was far superior/funnier than the visual version!" one wrote.
"Paul and Carol's trial had me in stitches."
