Carol Vorderman hit back at an Instagram troll who criticised her appearance by sharing a cheeky jibe on the social media platform.
The former Countdown host received to an unkind from a social media user who said: "Why don't you brush your hair for once?"
Today, the mum-of-two posted a defiant mirror selfie with a cheeky caption aimed at the troll.

She smiled into the camera, as she posed for a full length mirror selfie, wearing black trousers and a green jumper.
Carol captioned the image, hitting back at the internet trolls, as she wrote: "Woman has brushed hair."
In an image that she posted to her Instagram on Friday, she styled her hair in tousled waves and added some dark eye makeup.
She captioned it: "Morning lovelies.....going for a "what the hell just happened there" look for the hair today #unruly...I think I've succeeded!!! Lols.
"Holy hell it's Friday so soon already. Have a good one.
"Off for a top up with my mates today."
It was this post that prompted an unkind response from a follower, to which she responded: "How outrageous...I brushed it last Friday...some people."
