Carol Vorderman flaunts bikini options ahead of I'm A Celebrity return in South Africa

Carol Vorderman has delighted her social media following by showing off her bikini options as she gears up to head to South Africa for I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! All Stars at the end of this month.

The Countdown queen, 62, has been updating her 328k Instagram fans ahead of her return to the jungle, after appearing on the popular show in 2016. Gogglebox's breakout star Scarlett Moffatt won that year, with Thornbury's own Joel Dommett in second place.

Carol wrote on her Instagram: "Bikini choices....ugh… I dread the shower bits in camp, absolutely dread them but it’s hot and sweaty out there and you get filthy when you’re doing a trial.... So time on my hands, used the next few days to choose some bikini things… and I’m glad I did… There were a few that were just a little too tight and a little tricky to get off!!! Jeez."

The 62-year-old looked glamorous as ever as she posed in a variety of outfits showing off her toned figure - from a leopard print busted number to a white bandeau twisted bikini, which she admitted "took her about half an hour to put on."

"I might have to cut it and make it a bikini top it was a bit tight. I think I will pack some shorts for me, the shower scene and all that... bloomin heck," she added.

Carol also shared a bit of an insight into what life is like pre-show, as she shared footage of being in 'isolation' ahead of the ITV show airing on April 24. "I had three hippo friends joining me in my @imacelebrity isolation who loved to make a lot of noise at night," she said sharing some throwback footage to when it was all filmed in September last year.

Carol said she was feeling 'patriotic' as she stunned fans in a Union Jack bikini. (carolvorders/Instagram)

"Having a party during their mating season… I'm dead good at making animal noises," she said laughing, "so I thought I’d give it a go but they just ignored me....lols... Can’t blame them to be fair."

Series 16 contestant Carol Vorderman previously said: "Doing I’m a Celeb changed me and I can’t wait to take part. Our WhatsApp group from 2016 is still going."

Ant and Dec took to Twitter in September last year to confirm the new show would be going ahead as they shared a video on the platform. Chatting with Lorraine Kelly at the start of this year, the Geordie duo revealed a few more secrets about the upcoming special.

Dec explained: "It’s kind of an all-stars… Taking some of your favourite campmates from the last 20 years and taking them for a brand new challenge in South Africa.

"So it's a completely different landscape and they're doing it again. They're competing to become the first ever I'm A Celebrity ‘Legend of the Savanna’... It’s very special."

Amongst the line-up are former stars and Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan, Shaun Ryder and Amir Khan. Joining them are Janice Dickinson, Fatima Whitbread, Paul Burrell, Jordan Banjo and Phil Tufnell.

I'm A Celebrity South Africa will air on ITV1 and ITVX this spring with a reported start date of Monday, 24 April.
