Carol Vorderman has helped guide Helen Flanagan through her split with partner of 13 years, Scott Sinclair.
According to reports, the I'm A Celebrity... South Africa contestants' friendship has continued to blossom and the Coronation Street star has even compared her to a 'mother figure.'
It comes eight months after the mum-of-three and former Celtic star Scott's relationship broke down, reports the Mirror.
The I'm A Celebrity star has been relying on co-star Carol, 62, for support as she navigates through single life.
“Helen told Carol on the show that she and Scott had split up, but asked her to keep it a secret,” a source told OK! Magazine.
“It really brought the two of them close together. And Carol had lots of advice for her on being a single parent.”
I'm A Celebrity... South Africa fans have been watching the two become close since the show kicked off on April 24.
The series, which was filmed last year, has solidified both women's friendship, with Helen said to be 'relying' on the Countdown icon for 'advice.'
An insider said: "They’ve remained good friends since filming ended and see each other regularly. Helen sees Carol in a motherly role, and knows she can rely on her for some words of wisdom if she’s having a tough day."
Former Celtic star Scott and former actress Helen co-parent three kids together- Matilda, 7, Delilah, 4, and son Charlie, 1.
The pair called off their relationship in 2022 - they had been dating since 2009 and got engaged in 2018. Helen was subsequently forced to cancel their wedding after booking their dream venue.
Speculation that the pair called it quits first began in October last year, following her appearance at the Pride of Britain awards, where her engagement ring was nowhere to be seen.
Helen confirmed a few weeks later that the couple had called off their relationship.
Helen is also rumoured to be relying on Christine McGuinness for support after she ended her 11-year marriage with Paddy McGuinness.
The pair have become 'friendly' since splitting up with their long-term partners.
The former soap star was recently quizzed about whether she and Scott could rekindle their romance, she said: "No. I just hope we can be good friends and co-parent."
Helen confirmed she actually split with her ex in July last year and had to tell her loved ones their engagement was off, after securing a date at the grand Grantley Hall in North Yorkshire as a wedding venue.
The former soap star also teased appearing on Celebs Go Dating in the future and admitted she's open to meeting someone new.
