Maths whizz Carol Vorderman has taken to social media show that age is just a number.
Carol, 58, shared two of photos of herself in her "scruffy home gym gear".
The former Countdown star, who hails from Prestatyn, told Twitter fans to keep on exercising no matter their age and cited words of advice from Olympian and Boat Race winner James Cracknell - who become the oldest ever victor, reports the Mirror .
She wrote: "Totally agree with @jamescracknell #BoatRace keep on moving no matter what your age #Mindandbody."
Referencing the two knicker pictures – and another of her flying a plane – Carol added: "Eg.Gym at home a couple of summers ago 56yo # swimming # weights # ScruffyHomeGymGear .. and flying my plane.
"Every day is a bonus...living them all with a great big grin".
Fans were quick to flood Carol with gushing comments after she shared the snaps, with one writing: "Looking good Carol," while another enthusiastically chipped in: "Hot damn!!"

The comments come after Carol has been at the centre of multiple racy pictures in recent weeks, taking the bins out in a pair of seriously tight black jeans and imitating Kim Kardashian's iconic "break the internet" pose just days later.
After spotting the picture of Carol jokingly bouncing a champagne cork off her derriere, one fan wrote: "Marry me beautiful," meanwhile, another added: "Bl***y hell."
Other described the TV star and mother-of-two as an inspiration - praising her intelligence and energy - saying she proved that "age is just a number".
