Carol Vordeman in 'heaven' as she returns to Welsh coastal retreat that's her 'favourite house in the world'

Carol Vorderman has shared a series of pictures from her "favourite house in the world" as she enjoyed her annual trip to Anglesey - a location she described as "my heaven".

Taking to Instagram to share some snaps from her month-long holiday featuring the views from the house, Hen Cymyran and Carol frolicking on the beach, the Welsh media personality wrote: "MY FAVOURITE HOUSE IN THE WORLD So I'm Welsh....go home for a month in June and rent the most beautiful house in the world.

"All my fam, cousins, nieces, nephews, little ones...come over and stay and we lark around on the little beach, paddleboards, kids in the hot tub, wake up and walk 3 miles on an empty beach for a coffee in the village. No make up. Don't care about anything Chilling and laughing and smiling Yep. My heaven...

"Look at the view from the bedroom even. Never want to leave. It's pretty booked out but I think there are still some more weeks available this year. Dead jealous already of everyone who gets to live here xx

"Just thought I'd share....wind or rain....not glam, not getting dressed up, just happy."

She also added how her stay at this £5000 a week beachside property - which has eight bedrooms and sleeps 15 people - was not a gift but just a place in which she loves to stay. You can take a look at the rooms inside the beautiful property here.

Many friends and fans of the 63-year-old rushed to her comments sectiopn to marvel at the views and praise Wales' beauty. Eamonn Holmes wrote: "That's medicine for the soul Carol. My dream . Every fibre within me says look for one in.Northern Ireland."
