Carnival Cruise shares new Lido Deck and Atrium party schedule

Carnival Cruise Line ships have been nicknamed the "Fun Ships" by the cruise line. Onboard parties and theme events are a big part of that fun.

Brand Ambassador John Heald wants passengers to know that while he was always a "watch a movie in my cabin" versus a "go to the disco" (as dance clubs were known back in the day), the cruise line's parties are for everyone.

"Party is a word that people who prefer to play shuffleboard seem to have some disdain for but party really is just another word for FUN and that is who we always have been and who we are today," he wrote on his Facebook page.

Heald shared which ships have which events.

"Here are the Lido and Atrium events for each ship from now until November when I shall post a new schedule so you can keep up with what is happening. Plus I will also update the schedule when ships change home ports etc but this should give you some kind of an idea," he wrote.

The ships are listed in alphabetical order.

The White Party has been a hit for Carnival.
