For months, people have been asking Carnival Brand Ambassador John Heald to share which of his cruise line's sailings will be "Christmas cruises." Carnival decorates its ships, has Santa Claus onboard, and offers other special holiday treats.
Many passengers want to know if their sailing will offer these things, and Heald has been working on getting that information for months. In fact, he had actually shared a list earlier, only to retract it and tell people they had to be a little more patient.

Some Carnival customers book cruises specifically because they want to celebrate Christmas, making this list extra important as the holiday season approaches.
Heald's colleague Jacinta posted the information on Oct. 6 as the Brand Ambassador has been traveling, visiting the company's headquarters in Miami and Carnival Venezia in New York.
"The below holiday sailings are when guests can expect to see holiday décor on display. The décor will remain on display after Christmas and through the New Year's Eve sailings," Jacinta, who does not share her last name, posted.

Carnival passengers are thrilled
Hundreds of people thanked Heald and Jacinta for their posts.
"Thank you John and Jancita for hearing us and your role in changing these dates. The fact is that we will have had a grand time either way but there is something extra fun about a Christmassy ship," Melissa Nieuwsma posted.
Amy Stepp shared her thanks as well.
"Thank you so much for the updated schedule! You have just made a lot of people very happy," she wrote.
Some people seem to really like the Christmas decorations.
"We cruise this time frame almost every year because of the decorations," posted Janice Haynes.
Over 1,200 people gave the post a thumbs-up or other positive reaction. There were people, however, who were not happy.
"John Heald, I see you are on the Venezia today, and it is a beautiful ship. I will be on her Nov 24-Dec 6. I was so hoping she would be decorated for Christmas just after Thanksgiving. Any way they could possibly change their mind and do it before December 6?" asked Sherri Baker Hines.
A few were very unhappy.

"I am very disappointed! I booked a cruise on the Elation Nov. 30th because I wanted to enjoy a Christmasy cruise! I was on it 2 years ago, and it was beautiful. They decorated it after Thanksgiving! I am so upset over this...I would cancel if I could. SO disappointed," wrote Marilyn Solomon.
