Carnie Wilson, daughter of Beach Boys legend Brian Wilson, recently shared that they are still singing Beach Boys songs together despite Brian's battle with dementia. During Easter, Carnie, along with her daughter, sang some Beach Boys tunes for Brian, bringing him joy and nostalgia.
Following the passing of Brian's wife earlier this year, the family has filed for a conservatorship to ensure his well-being and stability. Despite these challenges, Carnie reassures that Brian is well cared for, surrounded by his loving family and enjoying activities like attending sports games and dining out.
Brian particularly enjoys when the family sings Beach Boys classics together, with favorites like 'Surfer Girl,' 'In My Room,' and 'California Girls.' Carnie also sings his favorite songs to him, recognizing the significance they hold for him.
Carnie, who has had a successful music career herself as a member of Wilson Phillips, is now venturing into hosting a cooking show, 'Sounds Delicious with Carnie Wilson.' She attributes her love for cooking to her grandmother and feels her presence in the kitchen as she prepares dishes.
'Music is in our blood,' Carnie expressed, highlighting the deep connection her family has with music. 'Sounds Delicious with Carnie Wilson' is set to premiere on AXS TV, featuring celebrity guests cooking alongside Carnie, with Mark McGrath from Sugar Ray as the first guest.
