Carly Pearce Denies Feud Rumors With Maren Morris

Carly Pearce clarifies rumors of feud with Maren Morris.

Country music star Carly Pearce recently took to social media to address and dispel rumors of a feud between her and fellow artist Maren Morris. The speculation arose due to Pearce's collaboration with Ryan Hurd, Morris' ex-husband, on a rendition of Tom Petty's 'Breakdown' for an upcoming tribute album.

Pearce clarified that her friendship with Hurd spans over a decade and that she agreed to record the song for the tribute album at the request of her label, emphasizing Hurd's talent as an artist. She firmly stated that there is no animosity between her and Morris and urged fans to stop creating unnecessary drama.

Additionally, rumors circulated about Pearce unfollowing Morris on Instagram following the release of Morris' song 'The Tree,' which marked a shift in her music career. However, Pearce's focus remains on her upcoming projects, including the Petty tribute album featuring various country music stars.

On a personal front, Hurd recently released a new track titled 'Midwest Rock & Roll' and is set to collaborate with Pearce on 'Breakdown.' Pearce, on the other hand, announced her fourth studio album 'hummingbird,' scheduled for release on June 14, along with the title track.

In an Instagram post, Pearce shared that 'hummingbird' reflects her journey of loss, growth, healing, and happiness. The 14-track album symbolizes her resilience, love for country music, and belief in finding light amidst darkness. She hopes the album resonates with listeners, offering solace and empowerment regardless of their life's challenges.
