A man from Carlton has won an Audi worth £50,000 - with £10,000 more left in the boot.
Wesley Belton won the motor after purchasing a £1.50 weekly prize draw ticket run by BOTB, which runs car competitions, and was working from home when he was surprised with the vehicle.
Mr Bolton, who was recently diagnosed with a heart condition and is planning for a wedding, was left in utter disbelief when the car arrived on his doorstep.
The 45-year-old was diagnosed with a heart condition called cardiac sarcoidosis after being rushed into hospital last year.
“This is fantastic and it’s come at such a good time," he said.
“I’ve had a really difficult year with my health and things are finally starting to look up - I can’t believe it!”
“It’s been a difficult few months. But I’ve had a pacemaker fitted and I’m on treatment now so I’m getting better.”
He added: “I’ve always liked the Audis.
“I’ve had them in the past and they drive well and look great but I fancied something a bit more sporty which is why I played for this particular model.
“It’s my dream car and the money will help us out massively, too. We’ve been engaged for a long time so this will go towards securing a venue and date for the wedding.”
The engineering manager got a model with 395bhp under the bonnet and an i5 500 Torque engine.
BOTB hands over the keys to two cars each week as well as a lifestyle prize - other recent winners have been given £20,000 in cash, a quad bike and holidays of a lifetime.
The company, listed on the stock market, was founded by William Hindmarch in 1999 and has given away more than £47m worth of cars so far.
