Newly-appointed West Brom boss Carlos Corberan has added former Leeds United coaches Jorge Alarcon and Jaime Monroy to his backroom staff at The Hawthorns.
Corberan was appointed as Steve Bruce's successor in the West Midlands on Wednesday on a two-year deal. Alarcon and Monroy, who have served under Corberan at his previous clubs, team up with James Morrison and Gary Walsh in the first-team setup.
Alarcon has worked as Corberan's assistant at Olympiakos, Huddersfield Town and Ermis Aradippou, and has also served as a coach at Leeds.
Besides his connection with Corberan, Alarcon spent two years working as a fitness coach at Saudi outfit Al-Nassr, where he worked under World Cup winning captain Fabio Cannavaro.
Monroy has served a variety of roles at a number of high-profile European clubs, working as technical director within AC Milan's youth set-up, manager at Barcelona's academy and a scout at FC Porto and Atletico Madrid respectively.

He became Corberan's assistant at Leeds U21s in July 2019, before replacing him as assistant of the first team the following year. After a brief foray into management with Greek second-tier outfit AO Xanthi, the Portuguese coach rekindled his connection with Corberan by becoming his assistant at Olympiakos in August.
Corberan was dismissed after just 49 days as Olympiakos boss after registering just two wins in 11 games for the Greek heavyweights. He had guided Huddersfield to the Championship play-off final last season but resigned from his post in July.
The 39-year-old spent three years at Leeds - initially joining as manager of the U21s in the summer of 2017. He was promoted to assistant manager of the first team under Marcelo Bielsa and juggled his duties with the youth team with his role under the Argentine.
Corberan was part of the Leeds backroom staff when they earned promotion to the Premier League after a 16-year hiatus by lifting the Championship in 2020.
