Carlo Ancelotti insists he may well remain as Real Madrid boss for another 10 more years, but could eventually end up managing the Canada national team.
The Italian returned to Los Blancos last summer for a second spell, and recently helped the Spanish giants to a 35th La Liga triumph.
After getting his hands on the coveted trophy, Ancelotti became the first boss to win a domestic title in all five major European leagues.
Real Madrid defeated Espanyol 4-0 at the Santiago Bernabeu on April 30, and the 62-year-old is likely to continue his role in the Spanish capital for the foreseeable future.
Ancelotti, who is under contract until 2024, revealed he could head into international management once his time in Spain comes to an end.
“After Real, yes, I’ll probably stop", he told Amazon Prime.
“If Real Madrid keep me here for 10 years, I will coach for 10 years. I would like to be with my grandchildren, go on vacation with my wife, there are so many things to do that I have left out and that I would like to do.
"Going to many places I’ve never been. I’ve never been to Australia. I have never been to Rio de Janeiro. Visit my sister more often.
“Unfortunately you cannot do everything, and therefore the day I stop I will have all these things to do."
Ancelotti is yet to test the waters on the international stage, but has come up trumps with AC Milan, Chelsea, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain over the years at club level.
Canada previously booked their place at World Cup 2022 in Qatar in six months' time after enjoying a stellar qualifying campaign. The Italian has since expressed his desire to take the reins of the national team in years to come.
“Yes, there would be a national team but now it’s premature,” Ancelotti added.
“Certainly not for this World Cup. World Cup 2026, why not? Could be. Canada? I’d love to, sure. Canada did very well.”
