Carl Woods is itching to have a child of his own with his fiancée Katie Price, after the model avoided prison last week.
Love Island star Carl, 33, and 44-year-old Katie have been together for around two years – with the couple being open about their attempts to try for a baby.
The lovebirds, who are currently enjoying a holiday together in Thailand, have faced their share of challenges in recent months – including Katie's brushes with the law and Carl being charged with using threatening behaviour.
However, the Crown Prosecution Service later dropped the charges against the reality star as there was "no realistic prospect of conviction and the case was stopped", which left Carl 'relieved'.
And now, after Katie avoided prison once again last week, 'natural father' Carl is said to have his sights set on expanding their brood.
A source has exclusively told the Mirror : "Carl really hopes to be a father in the near future.
"These last few years have been a really challenging period in all angles of Carl’s life, but at this very moment his biggest desire is to become a father."
Carl and Katie have shared their desires to have a baby of their own throughout their romance.
It was reported in May that Katie is set to start IVF treatment as she's "desperate" to have a baby with Carl. And the Love Island star's determination to have a child with Katie is just as strong.
Our insider added: "Carl is such a strong minded person and always tackles everything in his life head on and becoming a father is a challenge his eager to take on.
"He hopes to have a family of his own with Katie one day."
They added how Carl feels he would be a "great dad" and has had plenty of practice with Katie's children.
Katie is already a mum to Harvey, 20, as well as son Junior, 17, 15-year-old Princess, whom she shares with ex Peter Andre. She also has son Jett, eight, and seven-year-old Bunny with her ex-husband Kieran Hayler.
"Carl wants children of his own," the source added. "He would be a great dad and would give his children everything they need and more."
"Carl is so good around children, he would be such a natural father," the said.
It comes after Katie was handed an 18-month community order and 170 hours of unpaid work after admitting to breaching a restraining order by sending abusive messages to her ex-husband Kieran Hayler about his fiancee Michelle Penticost.
Katie plead guilty to allegations she branded Michelle a “c***ing whore” and a “gutter s**g” in the text messages sent to her ex-husband in January this year.
The model is banned from contacting Michelle directly or indirectly under the terms of the five year restraining order, which was imposed following an incident in a school playground in September 2018.
