Carl Frampton says his recent verbal altercation with John Fury was “blown out of all proportion” and that he has “no hard feelings” towards Tyson Fury’s dad.
Fury confronted the former two-weight world champion earlier this month at a press conference for The Gypsy King's forthcoming world title showdown with Dillian Whyte.
Frampton was one of several former boxers to tip YouTub star Jake Paul to beat Fury's son Tommy in a future bout, a comment that sparked a backlash when John and The Jackal bumped into each other.

In a feisty - and rather awkward - exchange, Fury stormed: “I don’t want to talk to you. I’m turning my back on you.".
Asked about the incident after Josh Warrington’s win over Kiko Martinez on Saturday night, Frampton told Pro Boxing Fans : “I get that mentioned to me five times a day, about John Fury.
"Look, it was blown out of proportion really.
“He’s a passionate big man and he didn’t agree with what I had to say about his son in a possible fight with Jake Paul.
“That was it. No hard feelings.”
During their highly-publicised confrontation three weeks ago, Fury asked: "Why do you think he can beat Tommy? Answer the question, because you disappointed me. I supported you and I looked up to you
“I’m just trying to be honest, John," replied Frampton.
Fury raged: “Honest? Honest saying a YouTuber could beat a Fury? Are you p***ed?”
Frampton hit back: “I’m not p***ed, I’m just trying to be honest.”
To which Fury replied: “I don’t wanna talk to you.”
He waved a dismissive hand in the direction of Frampton, now a respected pundit with BT Sport and Radio 5 Live, and said: “Get your facts right or get off the job.”
Frampton later joked that he had been “s******* myself” during the confrontation, telling Boxing Social: “He’s a scary big man, isn’t he.”
